You could start your presentation with...
"Hi, my name is John and I am the CEO of Health Unlimited and I am excited to be here today."
But that does not grab your audience's attention.
Instead, start with a startling statistic, fact, story, example, anecdote or audience participation.
Here's an example:
"One teaspoon. The Center for Disease Control recommends that the average adult only consume one teaspoon of salt per day. However, 90% of adults consume more sodium than is recommended. Hi, my name is John and I am the CEO of Health Unlimited and I am excited to be here today."
